i’m going on a royal caribbean cruise in august in the mediterranean sea. though i’m excited, i don’t like being away from my girlfriend for so long. can anyone (who has experience) tell me how getting online is on royal caribbean? is there wireless? is it expensive? can you use a mac?

Most cruise lines are up to date with the latest technology. They do have wireless and most packages for the trip will come with the connection for free. If you need more information, then consult the cruise line information center, they will be more than happy to answer your questions.
Using the internet at sea is expensive and is not wireless. They have an internet cafe that you go to. I forget how much it is per minute. But I know for a fact that it is expensive. However if are a crown and anchor member. look for a coupon in your member booklet that the room steward will give to you. It usually has a coupon for the first 10 mins of internet free.
Also I find the web to be very slow when you are at sea or docked somewhere.
