I am going to Barcelona, Spain, and getting on a cruise ship. Do I have to worry about drinking tap water, or should I only drink bottled water?

When I went on one to the mediterranean with royal caribbean it was just the same quality as tap water anywhere in the states. I didn’t think twice about it. Its filtered and everything, so you shouldn’t have to worry at all.
Cool Trip! I just went there in June and it was wonderful hope you have fun. Water on the cruise ship isnt a problem. They totally filter it so you can drink all you want on the ship. Now off the ship only drink Bottled water/soda!!! The cruise ship should stress to you not to drink any water or drinks that are not bottled when your on land due to the chances of picking up a bug and that totally ruins your trip. I was on NCL and they were totally germaphobic so i wasnt to worried about catching a bug unless it was totally my fault aka drinking tap water from the city. You will be constantly reminded of this by the cruise line and at least my ship even sold bottled water before we left for an excursion (which we bought once then refilled it for the next time on the ship either in the cafateria or our sink in our room) The ship really raises the cost of bottled water so we went the cheap way. Just remember everything costs on a cruise ship except tap water so drink up we did. Have fun! I loved Barcelona, its a busy town but beautiful.
