My family and I are interested on taking a cruise on the Mediterranean over the summer. Does anybody have any suggestions?

We are seriously thinking of going on an Eastern Mediterranean cruise in January 2011. Ports of call include Barcelona, Rome, Athens, Ephesus (Turkey), Cairo, and Malta.
My question is, have you been to any of these places in January (or in the winter)? If so, how did you pack and what did you wear? Was it rainy?
Thank you!

I need help for my travel & tourism homework, what are three cruise routes in the Mediterranean?

I have very limited vacation time and want to go to Europe…I don’t speak any of the languages so that’s not really a factor. I’ve briefly visited some countries along the Mediterranean, but i was on a cruise so didn’t get to spend a lot of time anywhere.

I am going to Barcelona, Spain, and getting on a cruise ship. Do I have to worry about drinking tap water, or should I only drink bottled water?

We will be going on a Mediterranean cruise next month. It goes to Dubronvnik Croatia, 3 ports in Greece, Sicily, and Kusadasi, Turkey.
Where do you usually do currency exchange?
Do you do it before you leave at your bank in the U.S.?
Do you use the ATM machine in each of the countries?
Can you do currency exchange on the cruise ship?
Thanks!

Hello all, in three days my family and I will be leaving for Venice, Italy. Then we will be heading out for a 7 night Royal Caribbean cruise on the Eastern Mediterranean. Our stops include Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey; Corfu, Greece; and Santorini, Greece.
We’ve been told that American money is of no value in Europe, so what can we use as spending money over there, and is it possible to do currency exchange in any of these places?

When you plan your next and future cruises do you want to go to the same places, like the Bahamas, Mexico and the Caribbean; OR would you like to cruise to a variety of other places, like Europe (the Mediterranean, the Baltic and Egypt), Alaska, Australia, South America, or Asia??

I am an American girl going on an Italian cruise through the Eastern Mediterranean. My dad says there will be mostly Italian families on the cruise (Costa). I’ll be 16 in august and the cruise is in june, but I’m just wondering how Italian boys act. i’m sure they are all different, but generally, how are they different from american boys?
